Subject: Devil in the Deck 1/24/09 -- Fabulous Night in SF! Sun Jan 25, 2009 8:37 pm
So last night, the girls and I had a truly magical night! First off, a special thanx to Wendi for setting everything up. She got us tickets to see a magician named Paul Nathan, who does a show called Devil in the Deck. It's a wonderful blend of music, magic and comedy; I just had a total BLAST. If you've ever been to the Climate Theatre, you'll know it's really tiny (like 50 people max, I'd say), so it's a really intimate setting. Paul, (who is accompanied by a VERY TALENTED guitarist named John Anaya) mixes tricks with stories of family and love's lost & found along with John's stylish and moving playing to make for a FABULOUS show!
He's only got 3 more shows at The Climate; next Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Jan 29-31). Do yourself a favor and go check it out, if you can! Tix are only $20 and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. On a scale from 1-10, it's totally an 11!
