Sooooo, I just got off the phone with my 11 y/o cousin. Last month, he proudly told me that he had a new musical interest and that was The Beatles! I jumped at the chance to enlighten a young mind about the best band ever, so I burned and sent him every Beatles album I had (which is like ALL of them; plus some awesome bootlegs & stuff) So he called me today to thank me for sending him all the disc's and stuff and we ended up having a 2 hour conversation on The Beatles, their music and more importantly his own desires to write and create music. I swear to god, it was the best conversation I've had with a human being in the last 20 years, easily!!!

He is smart, articulate, and mature beyond his years! The way he grasps respect & compassion for others, and his thoughts on war and on world peace should be studied by us "grown-ups". After I had told him about my late father's love of music and John Lennon's hope and mission for world peace, he simply paused at one point and said..."Ya know about that thing when people die and come back in a different body?" I said, "Sure, it's called reincarnation". Then he says..."Well, maybe I got some of Uncle Steve and John Lennon's spirit in me!"
